How do I order?

By telephone: Please call with the name of the card and any options you require. I will confirm your order in writing (by post, fax or email).

By email: Please email the name of the card and any options you require, your full name and address (and delivery address if different) and a contact telephone number. I will confirm your order by return.

 

How do I pay?

Payment is by cheque if you order by telephone or email. I will contact you with details once I receive your order.

What is included?

The price of each card includes an insert (see below) and an envelope. Some cards come in a presentation box with tissue paper as standard and this will be stated in the card description and is included in the price. If you order a card with an envelope as standard but would prefer a presentation box, please state this when ordering (a small additional charge of 60p does apply in this case).

Prices currently include all post and packing costs (for UK customers only) so the price you see beside the card is the price you pay (unless you require a presentation box as extra or special delivery). I will be reviewing these prices in August 2006 once the new postal rates come into effect.

How do you send the cards?

I use Royal Mail for delivery of most my cards and will send them by first class post (included in the price of the card for UK customers only).

All individual cards are packed in envelopes with protective wrapping, boxed cards are wrapped in bubble wrap and packing paper.

Most items will be sent as soon as payment is received if the items are in stock, but please be aware that this may take longer if cards need to be custom designed or personalised.

Please tell me when you order if you require your card(s) to be sent by special delivery (additional charge applies).

Will my card be exactly the same as the card I saw on the website?

All my cards are individually handmade and, for this reason, they will vary slightly from one example to another. The colour you see on screen may not always be a true reflection of the actual colour so if you have any particular requirements please call me to discuss them. Occasionally I may have to substitute a slightly different paper if I have to change supplier for any reason, in this case I will notify you if there is a noticeable difference and the photo on the website will be updated as soon as possible.

 

Do the cards have verses or greetings in them?

Unless otherwise stated, all cards have blank inserts. However, you can choose a greeting or embellishment when you order your card(s). If you have a favourite poem or greeting you would like included, please let me know and, if it fits, I will be happy to incorporate it at no extra charge. There are also several websites with free poems and verses that you could try and I hope to include some links in the near future.

Can a design be changed in any way?

Yes, any card can have any greeting on the front – simply let me know when ordering.

Some of my designs can also be made with a different size or colour of card and embellishments, such as flowers and papers, are available in a variety of colours.

If in doubt, give me a call to discuss your requirements.

 

Can the card be sent straight to the recipient instead?

Yes, I can handwrite or print your greeting inside and send it with a handwritten envelope on request.

What if I change my mind?

Please contact me as soon as possible.

If the item you ordered is in stock but has not been posted then I will just cancel the order and no charge will be made.

If the item was in stock but it has already been posted to you, I may ask you to pay for the postage, but will refund the cost of the card.

If I have had to buy in materials especially for your order, I may ask you to pay for these items.

 

Do you keep my personal information?

I keep your personal information (name address, telephone number and/or email address) for a short period of time after the order is completed (approximately 1 month) and then delete it, unless you ask to remain on my mailing list. I will never pass your personal information to any third party, unless you specifically ask me to.
